Within insurance agencies, there can often be a bit of a rift between the sales teams and the service teams. The sales teams are the agents who help clients get the coverage they need – they reach out to people, send in applications, and get quotes for people. They work with potential clients and help them get their insurance policy set up, at which point that client is introduced to the service team and assigned an Account Manager, who assists them with their future insurance needs. (For personal lines, that might look like adding a driver to a car insurance policy. For commercial lines, that might be helping someone get a Certificate of Insurance.)
The thing is that there’s a lot of communication that needs to happen between these two teams. It’s really important that these two teams get along so that we can be at the top of our game when it comes to taking care of our clients. Teamwork becomes vital and it’s essential that we all understand and appreciate the work that the other team is doing. And, of course, it’s important to say “Thank you!” to the other teams for the hard work that they do to keep our agency running as a smoothly functioning business.
And the Transportation Sales team did just that last week!
They treated our team of Commercial Account Managers to a lovely breakfast. There was quite the smorgasbord of food, from eggs to muffins to bacon to fruit to pancakes. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and teambuilding time, which was the Sales Team’s way of saying thanks. We do love food here at InsuranceHub, so their gratitude was extended not only in words but in a breakfast bonanza!
Of course, inter-office harmony is really important for our team members and employees. But it’s also important because it allows us to really be at our best when it comes to helping our clients and delivering a quality insurance experience, from quoting to renewal. When we work together cohesively, it makes a world of difference in how we’re able to take care of our clients and address their insurance needs.
